Quelqu’un utiilsant le logiciel de mail Sylpheed a t-il réussi à installer le dico. français (pour le correcteur orthographique)?

Perso je l’ai installé simplement
CONFIGURATION >> PREF GENERALE >> COMPOSER >> ORTHOGRAPHE
J’ai activé la coche "Activer le vérificateur d’ortho" et j’ai remplacé en par fr dans la zone de texte.
Et ça marche…

(mais bon je présume que ça n’a rien à voior le dico doit être commun à toutes les appli. GTK, non (–> aspell ?)
En fait j’avais essayé de mettre également fr au niveau du correcteur orthographique mais sans succès.

Pour info., mon sylpheed est de base en anglais.

Effectivement j’ai un gros doute:
je constate que le filtre spam (junk) ne fonctionne pas non plus, avec le message suivant:
sylpheed Execution of the junk filter command failed
et la seule solution trouvée sur ce sujet:
“Ok, just found out where the problem was. I had installed (apparently not
completely) a new version of glibc, and the gconv modules (for character
set translation) hadn’t been installed correctly (normally
in /usr/lib/gconv).”
Par contre là je suis dépassé, à priori j’aurais un souci de translation de caractères, il doit me manquer quelquechose, mais quoi?
Tu n’aurais pas mélangé des paquets de versions différentes ?
A ma connaissance, non.

Donc tu n’as pas Préférences > Correcteur orthographique > Dossier des dictionnaires : /usr/lib/aspell/ puis > Dictionnaire par défaut : fr ?
Finallement, je suis passé sur claws-mail, car il semble plus complet et le remplacant de sylpheed.
Sur claws, le correcteur orthographique repose sur aspell.
Là où ca se complique, c’est lors de l’installation des aspell-fr et aspell-en:

Help 
J’ai lu pas mal de bugg reportés sur ce sujet mais il y a quelques années. A priori rien de récent.
J’ai notamment trouvé ça:
"This error seems to be the result of trying to build a dictionary using
an 0.50-era version of Aspell. No such version of Aspell existed in a
stable Debian release, so perhaps you have an old locally built version
of Aspell in /usr/local that is being used? What do “which aspell"
and “aspell --version” say?”
Mais je ne vois pas trop ce que je peux en retirer concrètement.
Pour information, sur une réinstallation fraiche de squeeze, le problème n’est plus ré-apparu.
