Système : Impossible d'éteindre mon ordinateur (l'écran se fige)

Bonjour à tous,

Premièrement, voici les informations concernant mon système.
Debian GNU/Linux 10.7 (buster)
Dell XPS 15

Et le retour de uname -a .
Linux debian 4.19.0-13-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.160-2 (2020-11-28) x86_64 GNU/Linux

Je précise actuellement avoir lancé apt-get update & apt-get upgrade, ainsi, tous mes paquets sont à jour.

Je me retrouve depuis quelque temps avec un problème concernant le shutdown.
Effectivement, mon ordinateur refuse de s’éteindre régulièrement, alors l’écran se fige, et je me retrouve dans l’impossibilité de bouger la souris ou quoi que ce soit d’autre.
Alors, il ne me reste que la solution de forcer l’arrêt à l’aide du bouton shutdown.

(Étrangement, si je ne laisse l’ordinateur tourné que peu de temps, il s’éteint sans problème. L’impossibilité de l’éteindre semble n’avoir lieu qu’après plusieurs heures d’utilisation.)

J’ai donc regardé du coté de /var/log/messages aux horaires correspondant à l’arrêt de l’ordinateur, et les mêmes erreurs apparaissent.

  • Peux-tu passer en mode terminal (ALT+CTRL+F3 par ex)
  • Si oui que vois-tu? Arrives-tu à éteindre avec ALT+CRTL+Supp ce qui est déjà mieux que le bouton On/Off

La première chose à faire est de supprimer l’ACPI (le plus ‹ simple › est à faire en ajoutant ‹ acpi=off › à GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT

Alors, j’ai suivi les conseils et ai donc rajouté acpi=off à GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT
Ceci enlève bel et bien les erreurs ACPI BIOS, mais a également pour conséquence de rendre mon pavé tactile non fonctionnel. Dès le premier redémarrage, je me suis retrouvé dans l’impossibilité de bouger mon curseur, donc je suis passé en mode terminal pour remodifier la ligne GRUB et enlever acpi=off et dès ce moment là, ma souris a fonctionné à nouveau.

Donc pour le moment, je suis incapable de savoir si cette méthode résout le problème d’origine puisque celui-ci ne se présente qu’après plusieurs heures d’utilisation de l’ordinateur, chose qui met impossible sans l’utilisation de la souris. (Je ne suis pas assez passionné par le système pour passer plusieurs heures sur mon ordinateur en mode terminal ah ah)

Après, j’image, qu’il pourrait y avoir plus de détail à la fin du fichier /var/log/Xorg.1.log pour expliquer le « frizz » de l’écran (à lire après le premier redémarrage de la machine après le « frizz »).

Il est possible aussi qu’une option du bios soit en conflit avec le noyau, à voir ce qui est le plus simple : Changer l’option du bios, celles de la compilation du noyau, ou bidouiller au besoin sur le moment.

Et je n’ai aucune idée du protocole utilisé par le pad, mais quant à acpi, il existe aussi cette option à mettre dans le grub : pci=noacpi (Désactive l’ACPI seulement pour les routages IRQ des périphériques PCI.)

Bonjour Pam547,

J’ai essayé de mettre dans le GRUB pci=noacpi et le résultat est le même: pas de PAD (impossibilité d’accéder au terminal via CTRL+ALT+F?", donc finalement, c’est même pire que acpi=off où je gardais accès aux terminaux)

Concernant le fichier /var/log/Xorg.1.log, je n’ai aucun trace d’un tel fichier. Il me semble inexistant.
