Touchpad Synaptics ne fonctionne pas sous Debian Stretch

Bonjour Debian-fr ! :slight_smile:

J’ai installé une Debian Stretch amd64 sur un portable Toshiba Satellite C50-B-14E.
Le touchpad ne réagit pas du tout.
Je suis tombé sur ce wiki qui m’a uniquement aidé à confirmer le modèle du touchpad : https://wiki.debian.org/fr/SynapticsTouchpad

Et je ne sais pas quoi faire ensuite. Je suis dans l’impasse :confused:
Dans mon BIOS de type UEFI, il y a un curseur et je peux lebouger et cliquer à l’aide de mon touchpad, mais plus rien une fois Debian démarré :confused:

Effectivement, le pilote libinput installé par défaut n’est pas le plus efficient. Comme tu as déja synaptics installé, commence donc par tester en console :

synclient TapButton1=1 TapButton2=2 TapButton3=3

Cela devrait activer :

  • le double tape sur le clavier,
  • le défilement molette (avec deux doigts),
  • le clique de droite (tapoter avec trois doigts).

Si tout fonctionne, il te restera un soucis : rendre cette configuration pérenne, car en effet, cela se réinitialisera à chaque démarrage. pour cela commence par créer un dossier de config :

mkdir /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d

dans ce dossier, tu crée le fichier de config, par exemple :

touch 50-synaptics.conf

puis tu ajoutes dans ce fichier avec l’éditeur de ton choix, les lignes suivantes :

   Driver "synaptics"

Bien sûr, le touchpad répond normalement avec un autre système ?
As-tu essayé en connectant une souris, pour savoir si elle non plus ne répond pas ?

Alors quelques précisions (que l’on trouve dans le fil initial)

  • Le touchpad fonctionne complètement dans l’interface graphique de mon BIOS (UEFI)
  • Si je branche une souris, elle fonctionne partout.
  • Le touchpad ne fonctionne pas du tout dans Debian. (Ni mouvement du pointeur, ni clic gauche/droit, ni défilement, ni multi-touch.)

J’aurai accès au PC ce soir.

Si le touchpad ne fonctionne pas du tout, il faut donner la priorité à synaptics, pour cela copie le fichier :

/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/*-synaptics.conf 

sous :

/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/

(créer le dossier si il n’existe pas).
Puis redémarre le PC.

Tu pourras ensuite le personnaliser comme indiqué plus haut dans mon précédent message en ajoutant entre les balises “Section” et “EndSection” , les parametres de personnalisation.

Comme tu as installé Synaptics, tu devrais donc avoir le fichier :

/usr/share /X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf

(le “50” peut être un chiffre différent, ce n’est pas grave, c’est juste les priorités).
Si le fichier est absent, je pourrais t’en fournir un exemple.

Pour régler ce soucis, il suffit généralement d’ajouter au noyau le paramètre i8042.nopnp.

Mais je n’ai pas tenté. Ça pourrait être ça ?

Ah, et l’ordi ne veut pas s’éteindre parfois. (Reste bloqué sur écran noir + message “reached target shutdown”. Si jamais il y a un rapport entre les problèmes…

tu peux essayer ca :

Si ca ne marche pas on peut changer une ligne au boot :
rajouter psmouse.proto=bare sur la ligne de commande au boot ( https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KergrubnelBootParameters )

quand le menu grub apparaît, appuyer sur e pour entrer =dans le mode d’édition
utiliser les touches haut/bas pour aller sur la ligne commençant avec le mot linux et ajouter à la fin 

psmouse.proto=bare

Si ca marche, l’ajouter de manière permanente :
sed 's/\(GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=".*\)"/\1 psmouse.proto=bare"/' -i /etc/default/grub && update-grub

@dindoun : J’ai essayé (édition puis appui sur F10 pour démarrer.)
