Une debian, ça se répare, moi je veux bien ...mais !

Je suis patient mais là, ça commence à faire.
J’ai tt essayé au niveau du xorg.conf pour ce qui concerne la souris.
J’ai copié/collé celui de la Sid d’où je tape en ce moment.
Je vs passe le log qui semble ne rien trouver d’anormal sauf les 3 Erreurs de la fin concernant cette p… de souris.
Quelles sont les commandes qui permettent de configurer ce mulot de M… ?
Bien sûr, tt tenté avec dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg mais sans plus de succès.

Ben oui puisqu’avec la m^ souris, jeécris actuellement sous SID.
Je précise que j’ai les 3 versions de Debian sur le m^ DD avec la m^ /home.
sous Sarge et sous Sid, aucun problème
Jusqu’à maintenat, je n’avais aucun problème de souris sous Etch non plus mais depuis un dernier upgrade, ça merde.
Je crois quand m^ que j’ai dû éliminer des paquets orphelins un peu vite et ça serait la cause mais comment savoir lesquels ?
Pourquoi je me retrouve sous X en faisabt un
modprobe mousedev
et qu’après un reboot, le module mousedev a disparu ? comment le péréniser ?

je suis bien d’accord avaec toi (et c’est ce que je croyais jusqu’il y a peu) mais ce n’est pas le cas en réalité … tu peux le vérifier par toi même en regardant la disponiblité des paquets. cela est d’ailleurs vrai surtout pour la Sid, beaucoup moins pour la Etch … ainsi donc pas mal de paquets pour Sid ne sont uniquement dispos qu’en Etch (Sid + Etch). le contraire arrive beaucoup plus rarement et est plus souvent nécessaire pour résoudre des problèmes de dépendances (Etch + Sid) … bref, tout un art de jongler avec la Sid et la Etch :smiley: (mais cela est surtout vrai en Sid!)

héhé, ce n’est que mon expérience debiannienne perso qui parle et donc cela ne reste qu’une “solution”, qu’une “technique” pour faciliter la vie d’un Sideur / Etcheur :wink:

déjà, tu oublies pas le " linux26 " à l’invite d’accueil (y’a pas de raison de tourner sur un noyau 2.4 à l’heure d’aujourd’hui).

ensuite, le truc, c’est que quand tu arrives à l’étape " Configuration du système de paquet (apt) ", tu choisis l’option " modifier vous-même la liste des sources " et tu y mets uniquement le depot principal de Etch !!

et puis hop, debian s’installe automatiquement et directement en Etch sans passer par des paquets déjà périmés !
