Wheezy - Perte du RAID 5

Bonjour,

Malgré la qualité de Debian je n’ai jamais eu autant de déboires qu’avec Wheezy. J’utilise la version sous xen-amd64 pour mes machines virtuelles.
Premier souci, l’affichage. Résolu partiellement avec la carte graphique NVidia d’un ami. Partiellement car la session graphique est visible contrairement aux écran noir des terminaux virtuels (1-6). De plus, Gnome se fige ou présente un écran noir de temps en temps :frowning:

Hier soir il s’est produit encore un écran noir de Gnome. Ne me demandez pas pourquoi. #@&%. Bref, voulant aller me coucher, je fais un reset (bouton) pour redémarrer le système et eteindre la machine (elle ne répondait plus) puis vais me coucher.
Aujourd’hui je démarre. Durant le démarrage je vois une erreur sur le md1 en rouge. Aille, c’est mon volume RAID. Que va-t-il se produire encore aujourd’hui ?
Effectivement la commande #cat /proc/mdstat affiche unused devices

Config : 3 disque de 1To (toujours reconnus par le BIOS) montés en RAID.
Au dessus, LVM pour créer des partitions logiques.

N’étant pas expert dans les commandes RAID et ne voulant pas perdre mes données, que pourrais-je faire pour restaurer le RAID.

Le RAID logiciel ne semble être pas la tasse de thé de tout le monde. C’est vrai que l’on ne joue pas avec le RAID tous les jours.

Merci de suivre mon petit dossier. J’ai récupéré 3 vieux disques pour faire des essais avec la commande mdadm au lieu de jouer à l’apprenti sorcier avec mes données (potentiellement) récupérables je l’espère.

Le premier post faisait état des périphériques /dev/sdd1 qui n’était pas synchronisé.

Maintenant, c’est /dev/sda1 qui ne semble plus synchronisé.

Note : rien n’a été touché ni les câbles physiquement, ni la config du BIOS !

En passant,
Je n’ai plus d’écran noir de Gnome. En cliquant sur Activités / Applications / Paramètres avancés, j’ai rétabli ‘Extension Alternative Status Menu’ pour refaire apparaître les options pour arrêter le système. Et dans Energie, j’ai désactivé la mise en veille.
Depuis Gnome est plus stable.

Si j’avais su … jamais je n’airais fait un reset pour arrêter le système. Toujours pas de terminaux virtuels (F1…F6) mais cela fera l’objet d’un autre post après avoir retrouvé mes données.

Je vais voir du coté du BIOS

Rappel de la config : 3 disques de 1 To en RAID 5, l’autre disque est celui du système.

La configuration de ton raid semble inexistante.
Elle n’apparaît ni /proc/mdadm ni dans fdisk …

Ce n’est pas tant la disparition de la configuration du RAID (que l’on doit pouvoir rétablir) qui m’inquiète mais le A…
Le RAID sera-t-il récupérable si on le reconfigure ?

Avant de taper les commandes que tu souhaites j’ai voulu voir s’il y avait une MAJ du système.
#apt-get update
Il trouve libsasl …
#apt-get upgrade
#reboot
Le système ne redémarre pas mais Gnome semble s’arrêter car il y a un écran noir mais le PC tourne toujours. Le clavier ne réagit plus. Heureusement que le bouton Power a pu arrêter le système (cela évite un faire un reset brutal :wink:.
Une fois redémarré, la même commande #reboot a pu s’opérer normalement (sans apt-get préalable).

Une des machines virtuelles était le serveur NAS avec SAMBA et NFS (desk-nas)
Les données étaient sur le volume logique “desk-data”.

C’est surtout ce volume logique qu’il faut récupérer, le reste …
De mémoire ce volume avait une place réservée de 500 Gb

Il ne me semble pas voir de volume logique de plusieurs centaines de giga. Ce qui me fait craindre le pire.

Toujours de mémoire :
2 Volumes Groupes

  • vmhosts_vg sur /dev/sda3 (disque systeme) pour la config de VM (+ divers)
  • raid_vg0 sur /dev/md1 pour le VG sécurisé par le RAID 5 (md1)

sur raid_vg0, le volumes logiques :

  • toutes les machines virtuelles (disques et swap)
  • desk-data : volume logique des données partagées par la VM du nas (SAMBA + NFS)

Cela pourra aider certains à retrouver la config
