Wheezy sur Imac G5 - Radeon RV350 AP [Radeon 9600]

Bonjour,

j’ai installé une Debian Wheezy sur un iMacG5(2005), l’installation s’est très bien déroulée mais au niveau graphique l’accélération n’est que software.
Après plusieurs recherches sur les forums j’ai tenté pas mal de solutions mais rien n’améliore les fps de glxgears

Cela signifie quoi comme architecture ?
Si c’est powerpc essaye en installant le paquet firmware-linux-nonfree.
Tu vérifies également que le paquet xserver-xorg-video-radeon est installé.
Ensuite, tu supprime ton xorg.conf puis tu redémarre.

En tout cas c’est comme cela que l’on procède en i386 ou amd64.

À mon humble avis le problème ne devrait pas être lié à l’architecture. Un possesseur de cette carte graphique tournant indifféremment sous ppc ou i386 pourrait en dire davantage.

Chez toi lspci -v mentionne:
Kernel driver in use: radeonfb
fb ,framebuffer, X restreint, les “performances” devraient s’améliorer avec X et radeon.
