J’ai installé pourtant avec le cd +non-free … sur Laptop Dell 620 …

là là, je ne sais plu quoi faire …

besoin de votre aide

Étant donné l’absence d’information dans ton message, on va avoir du mal à t’aider :confused:.

Pour commencer, explique-nous quel type d’installation tu as faite : version de Debian, environnement de bureau.
Ensuite, donne-nous s’il te plaît le retour des commandes suivantes :

  • uname -a
  • lspci | grep -i 'network\|ethernet'
  • ifconfig
  • iwconfig

Alors, d’après le modèle de ta carte WiFi, on peut suivre les instructions données ici : https://wiki.debian.org/fr/bcm43xx#b43-b43legacy.

Concrètement, à exécuter sous root :

  • Vérifier que tu as bien les dépôts contrib dans ton fichier /etc/apt/sources.list, par exemple :
  • deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ wheezy main contrib non-free
  • apt-get update && apt-get install firmware-b43-installer
  • Reboot

Après tu pourras nous redonner la sortie d’ifconfig et iwconfig pour voir si on a avancé :slight_smile:.

Bon, tu peux déjà retirer la ligne Wheezy que tu as rajoutée à la fin de ton sources.list, c’était un exemple. En l’occurrence tu as déjà le dépôt contrib dans la ligne deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ jessie main contrib non-free.

Ta carte WiFi ne semble toujours pas installée. Tu as rencontré des erreur à l’installation de firmware-b43-installer ? Que donne apt-cache policy firmware-b43-installer ? Et si tu lances dpkg-reconfigure firmware-b43-installer ?

Pour NetworkManager, le paquet s’appelle network-manager. Donc si jamais il a été désinstallé, pour le réinstaller c’est apt-get install network-manager.

j’avais désintaller network pour essayer wicd … mais sans succès …

alors je viens de faire :
apt-get install network-manager.

au reboot … j’ai retrouvé mon icone de Network … :slight_smile:

mais pas wireless

Tu as copié un point d’interrogation en trop dans la commande de reconfiguration du pilote, la commande exacte est :

dpkg-reconfigure firmware-b43-installer

Exécutée en root, comme tu as pu voir ;-). Exécute-la une nouvelle fois et donne-nous-en le retour. Ensuite reboot et donne-nous le retour d’ifconfig et iwconfig à nouveau s’il te plaît.

Si, tu peux surligner la partie code de ton message et cliquer sur l’icône </>. Ce sera plus facile à lire pour nous ;-).

De ce que je comprends de ton lsmod, tu as un autre module chargé (wl) qui doit empêcher b43 de se charger. On va essayer de suivre la procédure donnée ici : décharger puis blacklister le module wl pour charger le module b43.

Concrètement, à exécuter en root :

  • modprobe -r wl
  • modprobe b43

Peut-être qu’à ce stade, ça fonctionnera déjà sans redémarrer (ou peut-être juste en redémarrant NetworkManager). Si jamais ça ne fonctionne pas directement :

  • echo "blacklist wl" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
  • reboot

Après reboot, si ça ne fonctionne toujours pas tu peux nous redonner les sorties d’lsmod et iwconfig.

Pas de panique, c’est normal :slight_smile:. Tu n’as pas blacklisté le module wl qui est donc revenu prendre le dessus sur b43 au boot suivant. Il te faut simplement exécuter la commande donnée plus haut pour empêcher durablement le module wl de se charger, et donc laisser la place à b43 :

echo "blacklist wl" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
