Win TV Hauppage et Alsa

Bonjour,
J’ai réussi à installer une Sarge Amd-64.
Tout a bien fonctionné ( le Raid 1 Via + le SATA Promise + IDE).
Le son fonctionnait avec ALsa et le module Snd_Viaxx.
J’installe une carte PCI Win Tv Express de Hauppage et à partir de là je bloque.
En effet, le son ne fonctionne plus.
Le cat /proc/asound/cards me donne le BT878 de BrookTree (Hauppage)
Le lspci me détecte bien la bttv et le multimedia controller Via technologie AC97
Le dmesg me signale:
VIA 82xx Audio : probe of 0000:00:11.5 failed with error -12
Je pense que c’est le compte rendu du non fonctinnement de la carte.
Plus haut dans le dmesg, il y a ce message qui est lié au bttv:
ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:00:0D.1[A] -> GSI 18 (level, low) -> IRQ18
cannot find the slot index 0 rage (0-0).

Y aurait - il un conflit d’IRQ?
Je suis nouveau sur Linux, je n’ai pas pu tester cela sur Windows car j’en ai pas; je n’ai qu’un mac (OSX) surlequel je ne peux pas bidouiller.

essayes de repèrer un conflit avec lspci -bv, et ensuite, regardes avec ‘modinfo ’ si tu ne peux pas passer des paramètres à tes différents modules, par le biais d’/etc/modprobe.d, ou regardes dans le bios si tu ne peux pas spécifier des plages d’addresse mêmoire ou une irq qui solutionnerait le pb…
PS: tu as, bêtement, essayé de reconfigurer alsa sans rien changer ?

Tu peux nous donner la sortie de lsmod ? Il me semble que j’avais eu le même probléme sur ma machine à cause d’un module chargé par hotplug lorsqu’il détecte un bt878 et qui empéche la bonne détection des autres cartes son.

Excuser moi de ce retard, j’ai deux petites filles qui demandent beaucoup…
En lisant sur Internet, j’avais l’intention de compiler le noyau en inhibant l’ACPI. J’ai télécharcher le dernier noyau avec dselect et je suis passé :

Bonsoir,
J’ai compile le noyau en enlevant l’ACPI, j’ai du son ALSA.
Je me penche pour configurer BTTV.
Question:
J’ai fait apt-get install kernel-source-2.6.8.
Lorsque je fait apt-cache search “^kernel-source”:
" kernel-source-2.6.8 - Linux kernel source for version 2.6.8 with
Debian patches"
Est ce qu’avec cette commande j’ai les patches?
Si non comment faire pour avoir la dernière version?

Pour ton problème, as-tu essayé amixer ? C’est un outil parfaitement barbare, en ligne de commande qui te permetttra de paramétrer la plupart des trucs sur tes cartes son…

C’est un peu pénible à utiliser et il faut lire la man page. Sinon il y a un outil graphique pour faire ça, c’est Kmix. Je ne sais pas si Kmix reprends toutes les possibilités de amixer, à toi de tester… et bon courage :wink:

Concernant mes petites , ce ne sont pas des jumelles mais presques: 22 et 38 mois.
Je vais potasser les pages man citées.

Bon, dans ton lspci, il n’y a manifestement pas de recouvrement.
Maintenant, ta bttv, tu l’as laissée en autodetection, ou tu as configuré le chipset, et le tuner toi même à la main ?
Si tu ne l’as pas configuré à la main, ca peut être l’autodetection de l’audio qui fout la zouille (peut etre que peut etre, mais peut être que peut être pas).

Idéalement, il faudrait aller regarder dans le répertoire ou le module est construit dans l’arborescence des sources du noyau, pour regarder s’il n’y a pas un README qui décrive un peu ces options…
Aprés, reste à les tester: tu crées un fichier ‘modulestv’ (par exemple) dans /etc/modprobe.d/, et tu y mets des lignes du style:options tvaudio <param>=<valeur> (la syntaxe est tout de même a verifier)…

Peut être que sur le site de v4l2: bttv-v4l2.sourceforge.net/ tu auras aussi des infos sur l’ajustement des paramètres…
