N’aillant plus de place sur ma partition racine, j’ai créé une partion supplémentaire assez large et j’ai déplacé avec un live cd tout le répertoire /usr dans cette partition que j’ai ajoutée au fstab.
depuis, je n’ai plus réussi à lancer sudo ( résolu avec la commande chmod u+s /usr/bin/sudo ) et startx en utilisateur standard.
C’est très embêtant comme vous pouvez l’imaginer…
Le message d’erreur est le suivant:

Avec sudo j’arrive à lancer X, mais je me demande si je n’aurais pas fait une grossière erreur en déplaçant /usr d’un seul coup…
EDIT: un “sudo apt-get install --reinstall xorg-server” a résolu le problème
