X1600M et beryl sous etch ( un comble :o)

Voila, jvous expose mon problême car j’ai réussi avec succes a installer les fichier proprio de ATI… Fin bref, et puis je me suis dis pourquoi pas beryl avec etch :smiley: .
Donc j’utilise les driver libre et la… c’est le drame ( j’ai essayé mil et un tuto, AUCUN ne marche ):

A vue de nez, je dirais que ta librairie openGL n’est pas assez récente, il gueule pour des fonctionalités manquantes:

Ben c’est la derniere. Mais bon je sais que les pilote fglrx proprio ne permette pas l’execution de beryl et consoeur… Donc j’ai testé les pilotes libre, et la s’est le drame… il ne fonctionne pas, j’ai l’erreur si dessus?

Que faire? si quelqu’un est arrivé à faire tourner Beryl ou Compiz sur une X1600 ( hors distrib mandriva) cela pourrai m’aider !!!

outch, cg X1xxx + pc portable + beryl sur etch = owned? La j’ai besoin d’aide !

Je suis loin d’être un expert en la matière mais étant l’heureux propriétaire d’une ATI X1400, je peu te faire part de ma maigre expérience…

Tout d’abord, sache que Beryl ne fonctionne pas très bien avec les pilotes fglrx… et que les divers libres ne supportent pas les cartes au delà de la famille X1300 X1400 X1600 et supérieures…

Dans ton fichier xorg.conf, l’option composite doit être “disable” car les pilotes fglrx ne la supportent pas.

Pour ce qui est de Beryl, as-tu installé XGL? Il me semble qu’il est nécéssaire pour les cartes ATI.
