Xorg plantage total

Bonsoir,

Je possède un netbook Vaio doté d’une carte Intel 945 GME et d’un écran avec une résolution de 1366*768.7
Impossible de démarrer Gnome dessus.
J’ai essayé en testing en SID pareil :

Le truc drole c’est que si je branche un écran externe ca marche !! Il semble ne pas detecter mon écran
Si quelqu’un pouvait m’aider car sinon je vais être obligé de remettre ubuntu et ça me saoule !! (mais ca marche au moins)

Si tu est en Sid ou testing essai de supprimer ton fichier /etc/xorg.conf. Puis reboot pour voir s’il existe une différence.

je viens de mettre à jour. En fait c’est l’ecran du portable qui n’est pas detecté car ca fonctionne avec un écran externe.
Même comportement avec ou sans le xorg.conf

Qui c’est qui a généré ce xorg.conf ?
En tout cas tu peux tenter de le mettre de côté et d’en générer un plus simple avec # dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg.

c’est xorg qui me l’a généré !!
xrandr me dit que LVDS1 est deconnecté c’est fou ca !!

Je pense qu'il faut que tu rajoutes une section "monitor" pour ta sortie LVDS1 dans ton xorg.conf, chez moi ça donne ça :

Chez moi j’ai ça dans ma section screen, c’est possible qu’il y ait quelques lignes en trop,
mais ça fonctionne comme ça : Section "Screen" Identifier "Screen0" Device "Card0" Monitor "internal" SubSection "Display" # les quatres lignes Depth 24 # que je soupçonne Virtual 1440 900 # d'être EndSubSection # inutiles SubSection "Display" Virtual 1440 1500 EndSubSection EndSectionLes chiffres sont à modifier, tu n’as peut-être pas une résolution virtuelle de 1440x1500, pour la connaître, c’est (largeur de l’écran le plus large)x(addition de la hauteur des deux écrans).
Je n’utilise pas gnome, pour savoir s’il est responsable de ton problème,
lance une session graphique sans lui et vois si ça va mieux.

Au niveau hardware pas de souci il marche en console et sur Ubuntu.

Sinon tu as vraiment essayé sans Gnome histoire de voir si c’est pas lui qui foutait la merde?

J’ai tenté de lancer twm et il me dit : cannot open display “”""

après avoir fait une recherche sur le net avec LVDS1 disconnected, je suis tombé sur le post d’un gars qui a un vaio et qui rencontre le même souci que moi.
Visiblement c’est un problème avec le 2.6.32-trunk.
J’ai installé le 2.6.30 et c’est bon. Par contre maintenant plus de réseau je deviens fou.
