DreamPlug Multi Boot

Bonjour

J’ai acheter un Globalscale DreamPlug Multi Boot avec Jtag, il ne poséde pas de carte graphique, n’y clavier et n’y souris. Il se commande depuis un PC qui ce connecte en SSH avec le terminal du pc.

Utilisation : Lamp, asterisk, domotique X10 (Marmitek CM15 Pro).

La distribution est Debian, son processeur est un ARM (un mini-pc basse consommation de 5 watts, appellé également plug computeur)

Quand je l’ai commandé, j’ai acheté avec deux cartes sd-hc
Une carte-sd Pre Configuré pour DreamPlugDebian 6.0 (Squeeze) 16Gb Class 10 SLC
Une carte-sd Pre Configuré pour DreamPlug Debian 7.0 (Wheezy) 16Gb Class 10 SLC

Je l’ai démarré sans aucune de des cartes sd et je me retrouve avec debian lenny
J’ai du mal comprendre au moment de l’achat car le site n’est pas en français.
Faut il que je le démonte pour y mettre a l’intérieur la carte avec Debian 6.0 (Squeeze) Pre Configuré 16Gb Class 10 SLC

Actuellement j’ai Debian Lenny si je ne me trompe pas, voir detail ci-dessous

je voudrai installer le pilote usb de ma domotique x10 (Marmitek CM15 Pro) que j’ai téléchargé ici linuxha.com/athome/common/ip … driver.tgz

Mais attention, Il me faut un noyau inférieur au 2.6.36, donc le noyau ne doit pas dépassé le 2.6.35, mon pilotes usb domotique n’est pas pris en charge sinon.

Sur mon ancien plug (GuruPlug) pour l’arrêt je tapé la commande “halt” en attendant de finir de le configurer.

La carte interne fait normalement 2Go, mais ce n’est pas cohérent avec les infos que tu donnes.
Newit modifie uboot pour démarer en priorité sur la carte SD externe, et si il n’y en a pas, sur la carte interne.

1/ sur la carte interne je suis sur Debian Lenny, afin de pouvoir arrêter et débrancher le plug la nuit le temps de terminé la configuration, (car pour le système de fichier ce n’est pas bon de le débranché de la prise 220V)

2/ Je vai essayer tout les cartes-sd sur le lecteur-sd externe afin de voir la version du noyau pour mon pilote domotique. Si une carte-sd me convient pourrai je la mettre dans le lecteur-SD interne du plug afin d’éviter d’upgrader lenny vers squeeze ou Wheezy.

Bon euh, il y a un truc que je trouve bizarre quand même … Je suis en Squeeze donc stable et je n’ai que le kernel 2.6.32-5.

Toi, tu es en Lenny donc old stable et tu as un kernel en 2.6.33.6 ?
Il y a un truc qui m’échappe.

Par contre pour les erreurs de compilations, tu dois télécharger les “header” pour ton kernel si je ne me trompe pas. Fait un apt-cache search 2.6.33.6

Tu devrais avoir la liste des “linux-headers” puis prend la bonne version “uname -a”. Cela devrait te rajouter le “build”.

J’ai regardé un tuto pour installé mon pilote usb sur un processeur ARM d’un Sheeva.
Il dit qu’il faut téléchargé un noyau officiel et le compiler, afin d’obtenir des linux-headers propres et fonctionnelles.
Il faut également télécharger le patches pour noyau de type « Sheeva » pour lui, mais moi j’ai une DreamPlug Multi boot, ou puis je trouvé ce patch, je ne l’ai pas trouvé pour la dreamplug.

Tu as un produit dont le kernel est compilé par newit. Cherche sur leur forum, ils te diront comment faire, et ou trouver les sources du kernel installé.
Ils sont réglos sur l’aspect du respect de la GPL.
nota pour les personnes qui essaient d’aider: sur un plug, le kernel n’est pas géré comme sur une machine de bureau ou un serveur. Il est complètement indépendant de la distribution installée (ici une debian). Oubliez vos réflexes habituels.

C’est ce que j’ai déja expliqué. sur les plugs, le kernel est spécifique, et n’est pas lié à la distribution.
Je ne comprends pas pourquoi tu pars dans tout les sens.
Ce que je ferai si j’était dans ton cas.
J’installe un kernel 2.6.38 à partir du site qui fourni les kernels pour les sheeva et les dream en suivant mon tuto: isalo.org/wiki.debian-fr/ind … _dreamplug

Le site fourni les headers et les sources, par exemple pour un 2.6.38.8: sheeva.with-linux.com/sheeva/2.6 … /2.6.38.8/

Si tu n’es pas à l’aise avec la compilation de modules, entraîne toi sur une machine virtuelle, même si elle n’est pas en ARM. Ca te permettra de comprendre ou mettre les headers, les outils pour compiler …

D’accord avec vous , mais comme je l’ai toujours dit le pilote domotique ne fonctionne pas a partir du noyau 2.6.36.x alors si je comprend bien il y a aucune chance que le pilote fonctionne, sauf si le noyau d’un plug et différent d’un PC.
En tout les cas j’ai testé avec le noyau de squeeze et Wheezy de newit, c’est le même topo que lenny.

Ce que je n’arrive pas a comprendre c’est pourquoi il n’est pas possible d’installer les headers et les sources pour compiler sur Lenny 2.6.33.6 alors que le kernel 2.6.38, oui ???

De plus je ne suis pas s’ur d’y arriver.

Je suis franchement pas à l’aise avec la compilation de modules.
Pour comprendre ou mettre les headers je peut utiliser virtualbox avec une debian.

Ensuite sur le plug, je compte faire les tests sur une carte sd de 16 Go externe avec debian lenny de newit pré configuré, si il faut utiliser le jTag ou autre manipulation, risque t’il de me modifier la carte sd interne au lieu de la carte externe sur la quel je fait les tests.

Non, le jtag c’est surtout pour configurer uboot, ou redémarrer le plug quand tout est cassé.
Il n’y a pas de kernel <2.6.28 car à la date ou le plug est sorti, c’était le noyau en vigueur.
Il me semblait avoir lu que le 2.6.38 était OK pour ton module.
Il n’y vraiment pas de patch pour le faire fonctionner avec un kernel plus récent ?

bien vu pour le 2.6.35-14. Tu as les sources et les patch, tu peux compiler ton module.
Pour interrompre le boot, il faut être avec le jtag, sur la console série.
Tu dois voir dans ta console le logo UBOOT à la mise sous tension, et normalement tu as 3 secondes pour arrêter le uboot avant qu’il charge debian.

Je vient de retirer la carte sd externe , j’ai donc booter sur la carte sd interne
je me retrouve avec le noyau

dreamplug-debian:~# uname -r 2.6.38.7 dreamplug-debian:~# est le 2.6.33.6 a disparue. J’ai merdé j’ai pas spécifié “/dev/sdf1” qui correspond au lecteur de carte sd externe, mais pas de problème.

J’ai donc refait la même chose sur la carte sd Externe de 16 Go en spcifiant bien “/dev/sdf1” pour le noyau 2.6.35.14, il a rebooté, est le noyau est :

Et il toujour néccésaire de modification dans les variables de uboot avec le jTag du fait que je suis en 2.6.35.14.

J’ai branché le Jtag en usb mais y a rien qui ce passe, je ne comprend pas comment faire.

Et pour mettre a jour ton kernel, tu télécharges un petit script (détails [url=http://www.plugcomputer.org/plugforum/index.php?board=2.0]ici[/rul]) choisis le post avec le kernel que tu veux.

Tu télécharges le README-DREAM-UPDATE.sh correspondant, et tu éxécutes la commande données sur le post

sudo ./README-DREAM-UPDATE.sh 3.2.13 pour le dernier kernel

Apres de maniere générale, pour changer la séquence de boot, faut te connecter avec la sonde Jtag, et interrompre le boot pour changer les variables de boot

edit : a priori uname -r donne pas la version réelle du noyau mais cette commande oui

Pour savoir sur quel TTY est connecté le jtag, débranche le dreamplug et déconnecte le Jtag du PC.
Dans un terminal, tape la commande suivante:

tail -f /var/log/syslog de mémoire
Branche le JTAG sur le PC
Tu dois voir apparaitre dans le terminal une nouvelle ligne qui t’indique que le JTAG est connecté, et quel numéro de TTY.
Tu peux arrêter la commande tail avec un ctrl C.
Utilise ce numéro de TTY pour te connecter au JTAG.
Tu peux ensuite brancher le dreamplug, tu doid voir apparaitre le logo UBOOT.
