Bonjour à tous !

Aujourd’hui j’ai récupéré un ordinateur de bureau.
J’ai voulu y installer debian wheezy.
Cela a l’air de bien marcher.
Cependant, je n’ai pas d’interface graphique …
c’est un peu tristounet …

quelle image de cd/dvd a tu utilisé ? install réseau? A tu bien sélectionné l’installation de l’interface graphique?

Le fichier intéressant à consulter serait [mono]/var/log/Xorg.0.log[/mono]

C’est lui qui te dira pourquoi Xorg ne se lance pas.

Je penche pour une version trop vieille des drivers nouveau pour ta carte nvidia.

Un apt-cache policy xserver-xorg-core… indiquera si tu as un environnement graphique installé ou non.

Petit problème, je ne disposes pas d’internet sur cette ordinateur.
Je disposes cependant d’internet sur un autre ordinateur portable.

Du coup les commandes apt-get install ne fonctionne pas.

Sinon aucun /var/log/Xorg.0.log n’est présent

Pourquoi, ta carte réseau ne fonctionne pas ? Ou tu ne peux simplement pas le relier ?

Ton problème semble être que tu n’as pas de bons dépots configurés. Tu peux coller le contenu de ton fichier [mono]/etc/apt/sources.list[/mono] sur ce forum.

Oui, je ne peux pas relier mon ordinateur au câble Ethernet…

Tu sembles donc être parti d’une image ISO netinstall pour installer ta Debian sur une machine qui n’a pas accès aux dépôts (cause pas d’accès au net). En tout cas c’est ce que je comprends.

Si c’est le cas :
– trouver un moyen de raccorder la machine à internet pour finaliser l’installation (il faut alors répondre aux questions de Zbf « Pourquoi, ta carte réseau ne fonctionne pas ? Ou tu ne peux simplement pas le relier ? »)
– refaire une installation à partir d’une image DVD ou CD selon tes besoins (là ça dépend de ce que tu souhaites faire de ta machine)

Tu n’as pas de périphérique wifi ou de connexion wifi sur cette machine ?

Car effectivement tu as installé le CD minimal ; netinstall = ne mettre que le strict nécessaire et chopper le reste par internet. Donc aucun environnement graphique fourni avec.

Je connais pas apt-offline mais si ton poste est définitivement coupé du net, ça vaut le coup de s’y intéresser.

Oui, le pc en question est très éloigné du câble ethernet et je ne dispose pas de cle wifi.

Je vais donc étudier vos réponses et tenter de résoudre ainsi à mon problème.

réparer ma debian grâce au cd d’installation,
mais connectée à internet par un long câble Ethernet.
