Je viens demander de l’aide ici car voilà bien longtemps que je galère pour installer une interface graphique KDE sur ma Debian Sarge 2.6.18-4-686 http://www.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-4338669-installation-de-l-interface-graphique-kde
La machine est un serveur HP Proliant ML115 (AMD64) qui a une misérable carte graphique Matrox G200 2MB.
Après avoir résolu divers soucis en relation avec la carte graphique, j’ai enfin pu, en installant et utilisant l’interface de login Gnome, faire apparaître une fenêtre de login correct.
Et là après être logué avec un utilisateur valide (pas root), j’obtiens le message d’erreur suivant :

J’ai vérifié passwd, shadow et les droits des dossiers et tout me semble correcte. Je ne comprend pas ce qui se passe malgré que Google est mon ami et de longues recherches.
