[résolu] plantage d'openoffice et skype après install d'ATI

voila mon pb:

une fois mes pilotes ATI installés (et qui fonctionnent), certains progs ne se lancent plus comme openoffice (le splashscreen s’affiche puis disparait) ou skype (le disque dur mouline 2 sec. puis plus rien)

je précise que tout fonctionnait parfaitement AVANT l’installation des pilotes ATI (expérience réalisée plusieurs fois, avec des noyaux différents)

je suis sous Etch, noyau Linux debian 2.6.18-3-k7, XFCE
matos : AMD X2 4200, ATI x1900gt

j’ai installé les pilotes en suivant cette méthode antoine.media-box.net/index.php? … n-unstable
c’est à dire :
apt-get install fglrx-control fglrx-driver fglrx-kernel-src
apt-get install module-assistant
m-a prepare
m-a auto-install fglrx
aticonfig --initial

bon, apparemment, c’est encore un coup de cette foutue ATI :imp: :imp:
Raaa … mais pourquoi j’ai acheté une ATI !!! :angry:

ce serait un bug causé par fglrx qui corromperait le fichier /usr/lib/libGL.so.1.2, ce qui ferait planter toutes les applications qui l’utilient:

il suffirait d’écraser la lib corrompue par une intacte :

Petite précision quand aux commandes à effectuées le tilde ~ n’est pas indispensable on peut tres bien taper la commande cd sans arguments elle nous fait revenir au meme endroit.

Salut… Pour ma part j’ai une ATI 9800 Pro avec les drivers propietaires (flgrx) récupérés chez ATI et ca fonctionne sous Debian/Etch… les jeux 3D (Vdrifts, X-Plane, Torcs) ont un bon rendu… et OpenOffice fonctionnait bien avec ces drivers… jusqu’à hier soir … voir [size=125]ICI[/size]

j’ai exactement le meme probleme sur ma etch,
après avoir installer les drivers proprios d’ATI, cette erreur :
Exception en point flottant

en lancant amarok, open office, et surement quelques autres applis.

j’ai testé 2 drivers, mais je soupconne le premier pour en etre la cause, le dernier 8.33.6 il me semble.
j’ai essayé ton histoire de remplacment de la lib, aucun effet.
Si quelqu’un a résolu ce probleme, ma foi, un peu facheux…

en mettant dans le fichier xorg.conf le driver “ati”, tout roule, mais lorsque c’est fglrx, des applis font des siennes…
je vais repasser avec le libre.

aparement il faut compiler le driver avec gcc-4.0 au lieu du 4.1 initialement installé.
Mais je n’arrive pas a installer gcc-4.0 car il n’est pas pour l’i386, il est que pour hppa…
Donc je ne vois pas comment il faut faire pour que tout fonctionne bien, jvai essayer de repasser aux anciens drivers amoins que quelqu’un ne sache comment installer gcc-4.0!!

j’ai réussi il y a pas longtemps, mais hélas je ne sais comment.
En effet, j’ai installé les pilotes d’après les dépots etch, donc la version 8.28.4 il me semble…
Ensuite, une reconfiguration de xserver-xorg et hop plus de problème! malheureusement, j’ai deux lieu ou je trimbale mon pc, donc 2 écrans. Ca marchait nikel sur le 15"(galere) mais ensuite je me branche sur un 20" et donc je reconfigure puisque je n’avais pas d’assez bonnes résolutions et pouf ça marche plus.
cela étant, en modifiant juste les fréquences de l’écran ça marchait… pour des fréquences de mon 15", ça marchait, fréquence 20", ça marchait plus, donc je trouve cela très louche!

je m’y repenche, car c’est très gênant! j’ai pas envie d’avoir 2 configurations de xorg, 1 pour applis graphiques, et un autre pour autres applis!!(amarok, open office…)

quant tu dis “ça marche plus”, tu veux dire que les plantages des softs comme skype, OoO et autre recommencent ?

Et ils s’arrêtent quand tu changes le rafraichissement et/ou la résolution ?

ça me saoule cette histoire parceque je voudrais vraiment passer sous Debian Etch (je suis sous Ubuntu), rien que pour le gain énorme de réactivité du système :open_mouth:

mais sans installer les pilotes video, je n’ai accès qu’à un taux de rafraichissement éxcécrable :frowning:

mon pb est résolu :slightly_smiling: mais ne me demandez pas comment …j 'en sais rien :confused:

voilà ce que j’ai fais :

installation d’Etch avec l’iso "carte de visite"
installation d’Xorg
installation de KDE KDM
installation des pilotes ATI proprios des dépôts (cf 1er post)
installation de skype et openoffice

et je n’ai pas de plantages …

alors, est-ce parceque j’ai installé KDE au lieu de Gnome, ou bien parceque les pilotes ATI ont été corrigés …

pour ma part, cela marche un fois sur deux, oui quand j’ai dis “ca marche plus” c’est biensur applis avec driver, et donc ché moi cela marche de temps a entre, a chaque fois que je dois changer d’écran je dois reconfiguré 3-4 fois xserver-xorg pour retrouver un bon fonctionnement, c’est très louche, vive ATI! je n’ai aucune explication, bon journée! bien joué hangarter !

Sur le PC de ma femme (etch et ati 9200) le pilote ati a été installé il y a quelques mois avec le tuto de trucs et astuces et aucun problème depuis.

Je n’y comprends plus rien. J’ai suivi ce tuto et ça a maché nickel.

J’ai changé le fglrx en vesa pour faire un test puis vesa en fglrx et ça ne marche plus.

je me permet d’upper ce topic car je rencontre exactement le même souci que son auteur, à savoir, un plantage lamentable d’OpenOffice au démarrage qui renvoie le message d’erreur suivant :

Bon. J’ai pris acte de ce qui a été dit précédemment et il semble que le responsable soit effectivement le driver fglrx puisque le passage au driver libre résous le problème.

Le problème, c’est que j’ai deux écrans et que le driver libre inverse les sorties de la carte vidéo par rapport à fglrx, ce qui fait que mon écran secondaire se retrouve catapulté écran principal et quand je brancher l’écran principal sur la sortie DVI, j’obtiens un affichage dégueulasse (j’ai deux CRTs).

Bref : j’ai peur de devoir rester coincé avec fglrx. Aussi, je vous appelle à l’aide, si d’aventure certains avaient réussi la combo fglrx + OpenOffice…

Je précise que j’utilise une Debian Etch 686 toute simple et à jour. Le driver ATI est celui des dépôts non-free (8.28.8 ).
