xauth: creating new authority file /home/kataman/.serverauth.3301

X: /etc/X11/X points back to X wrapper executable, aborting.
giving up.
/usr/X11R6/bin/xinit: Connection refused (errno 111): unable to connect to X server
/usr/X11R6/bin/xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.

bon, j’essaierai + tard :

le X pour répondre à BorisTheButcher :

“type X” me donne : "X is hashed (usr/bin/X11/X)"
ds /usr/bin/X11, X pointe sur …/X11R6/bin
et /etc/X11/X pointe aussi sur /usr/X11R6/bin/X
ds /usr/X11R6/bin, X est un ?? :
-rwsr-sr-x 1 root root 9704 2006-04-05 03:18 /usr/X11R6/bin/X

dpkg -l | wc -l --> 893
mais dpkg -l X (ou X) ne donne rien ??
dpkg -l | grep xfree

console@routeur:~$ aptitude search xserver-xfree p xserver-xfree86 - transitional package for moving from xfree86 to X.Org p xserver-xfree86-dbg - the XFree86 X server (static version with debugging symbols)

rc xfree86-common 6.9.0.dfsg.1-4 X Window System infrastructure transitional
rc xserver-xfree86 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14sarge1 the XFree86 X server
ii libglu1-xorg 6.9.0.dfsg.1-4 Mesa OpenGL utility library [X.Org]
ii xserver-xorg 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 the X.Org X server

i A libglu1-xorg - Mesa OpenGL utility library [X.Org]
p libglu1-xorg-dbg - Mesa OpenGL utility library (unstripped) [
p libglu1-xorg-dev - Mesa OpenGL utility library development fi
i A xserver-xorg - the X.Org X server
p xserver-xorg-dbg - debugging symbols for the X.Org X server
c xfree86-common - X Window System infrastructure transitiona
p xfree86-driver-synaptics - Synaptics TouchPad driver for X.Org/XFree8
p xfreecd - a GTK-based CD Player
c xserver-xfree86 - transitional package for moving from xfree
p xserver-xfree86-dbg - the XFree86 X server (static version with
