VLC toujours là apres une purge

En fait, on dirait que vlc a été installé sans passer par APT et donc est passé à travers le système de marquage d’APT (via dpkg peut être).

Pas via dpkg non plus, sinon apt-get retrouverait ses petits.

Je ne vois plus que [mono]which vlc[/mono] pour tenter de trouver où il se planque, mais si l’installation a été crade, la désinstallation risque de l’être encore plus !

vlc est un meta paquet. Le binaire vlc appartient à vlc-nox. Pour virer vlc, il faut virer vlc-nox cequi n’est pas le cas ici.

C’est le problème d’une installation en dehors des paquets “debian”.

Alors je ne m’en suis même pas rendu compte (peut être ai-je suivi un tuto douteux il y a longtemps …)

T’as raison, j’ai installé la version stable.
J’ai fais une simulation en stable et une autre avec les depots backports … la reponse en stable me parrait plus “simple”, beaucoup moins de paquets à installer.

MAis apres l’installation (faite comme cela -> aptitude install vlc), j’ai bien vlc mais il crash …

Bon, il faut voir le positif, mon systeme est plus propre mais vlc ne marche toujours pas.

Renomme le répertoire VideoLAN, ça devrait le calmer… (au pire, supprime…)
