Certes, je suis d’accord avec toi. Pour l’installation, je n’ai pas installé acpi, je vais tester pour le bug de la température… Il me faudrait un moyen de voir précisément l’état de la batterie et le wifi…
Compiz, c’est pratique, je l’ai essayé pas mal de temps, et c’est aussi pour montrer les capacités de linux à quelques potes ^^…
Quel web browser me conseillez-vous? avec flash et java?? J’ai entendu parler du plugin tiny pour firefox. Qu’en est-il??

Après tu mets ta partoche (dans notre cas la carte SD)en montage automatique avec une ligne de ce style dans le /etc/fstab :

Pour moi l’utilité du truc vient dans un cas plus simple, c’est-à-dire quand tu bootes à la fois avec une clé USB (que tu aurais oublié de débrancher par inadvertance, j’ai pas de tête) et ta SD (/home).
J’ai déjà eu le tour une fois mon /home n’était pas monté car la clé USB à squatté sdb et donc la SD était reconnue en sdc :laughing:

Par contre, il me semblait que le lecteur “interne” (celui sur le coté) avait “toujours” comme “nom” /dev/sdb… mais bon… après, les rares fois où je démarre la bête avec une clé usb, c’est pour booter sur la-dite clé… :wink: … mais c’est vrai que celà pourrait être une “solution” pour être sûr d’avoir son /home à la bonne place… :wink:

En fait le gag s’est produit chez moi car j’avais mis une copie de mon cv sur ma clé et j’ai éteint la bête de temps d’aller acheter quelque pitance.
Après être rentré (et avoir rangé mes victuailles) j’avais allumé la machine et j’ai ralé un bon coup :laughing:

pour en revenir au changement de la carte sdd interne sur un 701 , c’est donc possible mais aparament on ne pourrais pas mettre plus de 12 Giga …

Je suis de retour!!!
Je suis en week-end en famille, avec un accès internet… Je suis donc en Ethernet, le wifi n’est pas configuré.
J’ai essayé d’installer firefox (iceweasel) mais il ne télécharge rien, j’ai alors installé epiphany, mis j’amerais bien le virer (proprement avec purge et clean) pour mettre iceweasel avec le plug-in tiny…
Il me faut aussi paramétrer le wifi (la hotkey wifi fonctionne, la diode bleue est allumée), ainsi que la natification de la puissance du processeur (dois-je installer cpufrequtils pour le faire fonctionner à 630 Mhz??)

une liste de programme dont l’install fait 2,4Go

il n’y a pas beaucoup de détail sur l’installation

Je cherche un moyen efficace pour le wifi. J’ai téléchargé madwifi-modules-eeepc-2.6-686 et ajouté dans /etc/modules la ligne madwifi-modules-eeepc-2.6-686. J’ai ensuite installé knetworkmanager mais il ne se lance pas, et je ne trouve pas wicd…
Je dois pouvoir me connecter à tous les réseaux internet (clés WEP principalement) maisons, fac…

J’ai réussi à installer Wicd à partir du dépôt, il voit la livebox, je rentre la clé wpa mais ne parvient pas à se connecter. Je lui ai indiqué l’interface ath0 et madwifi comme pilote wpa mais pareil…
Comment faire pour la fréquence??? éventuellement la faire varier en fonction de l’utilisation…

Par contre, pour le wifi, ce que j’ai remarqué pour l’instant (vu que pour moi le wifi n’est pas une priorité…) c’est que je ne “vois” ma carte wifi avec wifi-radar ou airmon-ng (nan c’est pas pour pirater ça… c’est juste un outil… :unamused: :laughing: ) que si elle est “activée” au boot (si je reboot l’eee en “laissant” le wifi allumé…), si je coupe le wifi avec la hotkey et que je le remets… plus rien… :confused: (mais ça… je verrais après…)

Je viens d’installer en plus de mon install openoffice pour voir l’espace utilisé :

J’ai donc iceweasel, gimp, openoffice (writer, calc draw, impress, math, base), compiz-fusion, xmms, wine + 2-3 merdes sur un environnement gnome.

Pour gagner un peu de place, j’ai installé localepurge, réglé le apt.conf sur aptitude false. Après un petit aptitude clean, voilà le résultat :

(j’ai le même comportement avec iwconfig, je ne “vois” l’interface wifi que si elle est démarrée au boot = lumière bleue dès le “POST”…)

Pour l’acpi pour eeepc, essayes, pour l’instant perso, il veut pas s’installer… :cry: … pb de dépendances… :confused:
